spring is comming
Team from www.lavender-croatia.com got the visit from our new partner and friend Roko, the boss and CEO of Lavanda Račič from Hrvatska Kostajnica.
Roko did'nt came emptyhanded, he came baring a grat lavender and chessnut honey, tnx Roko,
And we got a few grat advices for making plant cutlings :)

Aljmaš Croatia
It's that time of the year, every mid august in Aljmaš, Croatia we celebrate the feast of Assumption of Our Lady ,
This time we brought our products with us, also with some products of OPG Nesek,
We were there from 03:00am up to 07:00pm, hot and steamy conditions could not spoil the fact that 70,000 pilgrims full of good will and faith were there and it was a great thing that we were there.
As you can see on the photos, the river of Danube was a great site to see in the sunset, many cruisers and other boats glanced the site,
The Lavender-Croatia team goes on, and we are still redoing our web pages, so check us out.

One of those days
it's work time on our little manufactory at OPG Suler, me and the wife are working on designing the shachets and the elders are babysiting while filling the Lavender bottles with essential oil.
It's nice to have them over.....
one of the photo is showing the design of shachet with City of Vukovar logo and one pf the most recognized motive of the city, the Watertower that was destroyed in wartimes of 1991 with the rest of the city.
If you ever go on the Danube route be sure to visit Vukovar, and pay the respect for this suffering part of Croatian history
on the brite side,i could not resist to post the photo of a great invention that my mother made, It's a Melon liquer, great taste she has.... sweet and light to drink, works like a charm in hot summer days....

Lavender Harvest - Day 3. The End
Last day we have worked just till 10:00am, and it was the most satisfaction day of them all. To see many natures creatures on just a few plants that are left was breathtaking, bees,bumblebees and butterflies were flying on just a few remaining plants of Lavender. And the full depot in our old village home was full of Lavender and smelling like Heaven... Sight that you have to see
The most interesting fact of all was proven by our friends that helped us on the field, some of them including me,cut their hand and legs with the sharp ends of the sickle and we just rubbed our wounds with the Lavender Flowers and the next day they magically disappeared or partial healed by themselves, the blood instantly stopped leaking on them... It works like a charm
Lavender Harvesting - Day 2. @ on the Field
Hot, Hot,Hot on the field... Hotter than yesterday, in the morning I had to go and distill some more Lavender Oil as the rest of the crew boiled themselves on the field, later that day I have joined the battle against the sun with them.
